Kelowna’s STEM Summer Camps have arrived!
(In collaboration with iStand)

STEM Learning Lab prides itself on providing campers with excellent STEM, Coding and Robotics camping experiences.

Camps begin at 8:30am and end at 3:30pm.

All campers should bring a lunch, two snacks and a bottle daily. All campers will enjoy outside playtime in the mornings and afternoons (weather permitting), so please dress accordingly.

STEM Summer Camps August 8-12, 2016

1aGirls Only Robotics Class: Designing Dancing Humanoids!  

Ages 8 and Up       

This innovative, highly engaging, hands-on, GIRLS-ONLY summer camp will foster the development of girls’ self-confidence and self-esteem. Twelve girls will engage in the principles of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) as they design, build, engineer, wire and program a Humanoid Robot to dance to their favorite song! Working together, participants will learn to code and develop individualized apps that control their Humanoid Robot. Learning new technologies and making new friends has never been so fun!

robotics4Making and Programming A Real-World Humanoid Robot

Ages 8 and Up         

In this highly engaging, hands-on summer camp, 12 participants will have fun as they build and program a Humanoid Robot with advanced capabilities such as voice recognition, speech recognition and camera tracking. By the end of the week, participants will have learned how to program their robot to recognize colors, objects, and even their own face! What will you teach your Humanoid Robot to do? Talk, Walk, Sing, Dance… and more! Making friends and learning new technologies has never been so much fun!
